There are various advantages of polyethylene tanks like better resistance to growth of termites and algae and in general, to any form of impact. The water tanks made up of polyethylene are light in weight, fibre-free, non-toxic, stabilized by ultraviolet rays and are immune to rusting or corrosion. Polyethylene tanks are capable of holding bore or rain water and are taste as well as taint-free. These are used for water storage and are commonly called as rainwater tanks. The tanks are available in various colours like heritage green, beige and mist green and sizes ranging from 340 litres (75 gallons) to 23000 litres (5000 gallons). The tank comes with the necessary fittings that include a tap and a reducer, an inlet strainer, a plug, two 40mm (diameter) brass outlets and an overflow.

Slimline water tanks are available in three colours (beige, mist green and heritage green) and in volumes of 1010 litres, 1100 litres as well as 2050 litres. Steel modular tanks on the other hand, are available in capacities of 318 litres, 780 litres and 1150 litres.
