Leadership development program
ABV offers a unique Leadership Development Program, which provides an exceptional opportunity and environment to develop leadership qualities. As part of the program, individuals or small group of employees chosen for this program are placed with clients of ABV. They live together in a developing community for a period of 1 month providing guidance and advice to solve specific business and organisational challenges. Employees may need to travel in between states or overseas for this program.

It offers opportunities to mentor as well as train clients, thus honing the leadership skills and qualities of key employees. ABV attempts to match employee skills with needs of clients through this leadership development program. Cultural awareness activities are arranged prior to departure of the employees to orient them towards the new country or community.
The ABV program is cost-effective, promotes understanding of global differences and promotes harmony in a diverse cultural workforce. The leadership program empowers employees to work efficiently in different business climates. It also increases employee retention rates, resulting in commitment to the company.
The participants experience intrapersonal growth, as they interact with communities, providing a positive growth outlook. The partner organisations and communities in turn benefit from the skills and support of the employees.
The website provides testimonials of employees from IBM, who participated in the ABV leadership development program. Employees from different countries worked together in a developing country and gained a global perspective. They helped in providing clean drinking water for a village, organised a ‘Cultural Dialogue Symposium’ for university students and building capacity of faculty leaders.
